About me
As a lifelong Alaskan, I absolutely adore the unique charm of Alaska and everything it has to offer. I can't imagine living anywhere without those majestic mountains, countless rivers and lakes, and the ocean with its massive tides and tidal pools. I generally prefer jeans, mud boots, and a rain jacket over business attire. I love boating, foraging for mushrooms and berries, fishing for salmon, halibut, trout, snow and king crab, hiking, snow machining (yes machining not snowmobiling ;o)~ ), horseback riding, and (food) hunting for moose, elk, deer, caribou, and Dall sheep. Family is my world; I'm a proud mom of two kids and two brindle mastiffs. I've worked in nonprofit senior leadership almost my entire career but joined the American Red Cross in August 2024, so not quite a year.
